Horos for Mac Free Download

Horos is an open-source medical imaging software that provides a range of features and tools for exporting, loading, and analyzing DICOM images. One of its key strengths is its ability to export and load DICOM images in NIFTI format, which allows users to save their current view to the database.

The software also includes several algorithms and plugins that can be used to analyze DTI images. The DTIMap plugin, for example, calculates Fractional Anisotropy (FA), Mean diffusivity, radial and axial diffusivity, and color-coded FA maps from DTI images. The software also includes a range of other plugins that provide advanced features for medical imaging analysis, including the RGPhaseCorr plugin, which is used to separate water and fat using phase-sensitive SSFP; the CreateROIMask plugin, which converts Osirix ROIs into binary images in Analyze format; and the Dental 3D Plugin, which extends the OsiriX 3D Curved MPR Viewer features to allow for basic dental implant treatment planning.

Horos is available as a free download for Mac users, and can be accessed through its plugin manager. The software has been developed by a community of developers who contribute plugins and updates to make it an even more powerful tool for medical imaging analysis.
